We encourage you to become a member of NZHECEA (New Zealand Homebased Early Childhood Education Association) which will keep you up-to-date with developments in the Early Childhood area. The Association has a group insurance scheme tailor-made for educators in Homebased Early Childhood Education. It includes indemnity insurance and health insurance as well as home and contents. On their website you will also find a Tax Calculator which helps you to calculate any tax you need to pay, as well as the deductions that you are entitled to.
