Erin Bradley
Hi my name is Erin, I am one of the PAUA visiting teachers in Christchurch.
I was born and bred in Christchurch and I love it here. I am married to Scott and we have an amazing son Jack.
My educational journey led me to studying towards my Diploma of Teaching and Learning (Early Childhood) I worked and studied at the same time and this was invaluable for hands on experience and putting theory into practice. During my studies I was lucky enough to be offered an amazing opportunity to teach English in China at a Kindergarten, this taught me a lot about cross-cultural relationships and understanding. When I completed my Diploma I set up a business and worked with children with Autism in their homes, Kindergartens and Schools and Preschools. It was very humbling experience. That year I also upgraded to my Bachelor of Teaching and Learning (Early Childhood) through distance learning.
Then in January 2009 Jack was born and rocked our world, the experience made me re-evaluate my thoughts and ideas of preschool education, so when my journey led me to Raewyn and the potential to set PAUA up in Christchurch I jumped at the opportunity to be a part of it.
I look forward to meeting you and your family and being part of your journey
Ka kite anō, zàijiàn, sayonara, see you soon
