WINZ Subsidies

The Visiting Teacher will help parents fill out the relevant WINZ Childcare Subsidy forms. These can be download from WINZ. It is the parent’s responsibility to ensure that all the relevant information is given to WINZ and that WINZ are notified of any changes of circumstances. Please be aware that it can take 6 weeks for applications to be processed through WINZ before payment can be made to Educators. It is therefore parents responsibility to make payments to Educators until WINZ payments start.

Childcare Subsidy (current)

 

Below are the Childcare Subsidy income abatement thresholds and maximum rates at 1 April 2011. If you received the Childcare Subsidy PRIOR to 1 April 2011 the Gross Weekly income levels are different as grandparenting thresholds apply. Please refer to the WINZ website for the correct grandparented subsidies.
