Paint Recipes

Fluffy Paint
2/3 Cup Soap Flakes
1/3 Cup Water
Powdered Paint or Food Colour
Combine all the above and whip until fluffy and paint!
Note: Be careful not to get into eyes as it will hurt! Rinse with water or a damp cloth.

Microwave Puff-Painting
1 Tablespoon Self Raising Flour
Few Drops Food Colouring
1 Tablespoon Salt
Mix the ingredients together using enough water to make a smooth paste. Make 3 to 4 different colours - empty yoghurt pottles are handy containers. Paint on to thick paper or cardboard, then microwave on high for about 10 seconds or until the paint is dry.

Bubble Painting
Dishwashing Liquid
Powder Paint
Straws Sheet of Paper
Plastic containers
Water
Apron
Put on apron. Pour 1/4 cup of dishwashing liquid into a can or container. In a separate container, mix small amount of water with paint. Add paint mixture to dishwashing liquid until colour is intense. Practise blowing on a straw. Put straw into paint mixture and gently blow until the bubbles slightly flow over the top of the container. (Do not breathe the paint in through the straw). Roll paper around gently on top of bubbles so as not to burst the bubbles. Try not to press the paper flat on top of the bubbles. Repeat the process with several colours for a pretty sheet of multi-coloured paper. Allow paper to dry before using.
