"Fantastic resources, amazing feedback, and lots of opportunities for our children to grow and progress."

Kia Ora, I have lived in Palmerston North for most of the last 20 years and have been married to my husband, a Fitter and Turner for well over a decade! We have been blessed to have two wonderful children, a son who is sport mad like his Dad and loves playing basketball and soccer and a daughter who loves gymnastics and baking!

We are a Christian family who are regularly involved with our church activities and community work as well. I have enjoyed travelling over the years and have lived in three other countries, Papua New Guinea, Australia and England. I love learning about new places to travel and different cultures. I also enjoy scrap-booking, cooking, swimming and badminton.

I have always loved children and knew my career would involve children in some way.

I started out working overseas as a Nanny, after some training then got into working in a Childcare Centre here in Palmerston North many years ago and have never looked back working with children as a career. I did my training whilst working, then later did a two year short course, “Diploma Of Teaching in Early Childhood” at Massey University.

I believe children are a gift and created in the image of God and we need to see them as He does, unique and special, worthy of love and respect, it is essential that we nurture the mana of each child and help shape them to reach their full potential. I love the PAUA vision which states that, ‘Children are our treasures for tomorrow.’ I am very happy working for PAUA and being a part of the unique Christian Home Based Education service that is rapidly growing throughout New Zealand.
Ka kite ano,

God bless
